Just a word of thanks to you and your team for a superb weekend.
It was a superb camp with lots of really good activities, it was very well organised and you even arranged the sun.
I have had excellent feedback from parents saying their lads had a really good time.
I appreciate how much time and effort you guys must have put in and thank you is hardly enough but it is sincere.

Hi Martin,
I’ve just returned from Cubs and asked those who attended the District Camp if they enjoyed themselves.
Well, they all answered yes very loudly and then proceeded to tell everyone all at once what they had missed out on.
The rest of the Pack had attended the Onion Fayre but regretted they had hadn’t been to camp. We were asked if you would be running another one next month, next week, in January, etc. I just hope you are up to all of this!!
As for Julie, Pete, Richard and myself, and I know from the others as well, we all had a brilliant time. From my point of view, you have achieved something that our leader hasn’t and that is to get everyone together and have a great time. I really cannot remember another occasion in my 19 years of being here when this has happened. It really was an amazing experience, one I wouldn’t have missed. My biggest regret was that I couldn’t help you. I just hope you are now beginning to relax and feel pleased with what you have achieved. I’m sure Helen and the family will be pleased to see more of you. We all enjoyed helping out wherever we could and are looking forward to seeing the photos. I do just hope you managed to enjoy the occasion as well.

Just wanted to say a big thanks on behalf of Mitcheldean Cubs for a fantastic district camp and all your hard work over the last few months organising this event. All our Cubs thoroughly enjoyed themselves and can't wait for the next one! Us leaders are of course still recovering as I'm sure you are!

Hi Martin,
If someone had told me a few years ago that an event like this weekend would happen in the Forest, I would have thought that they must be on another planet.
In fact some people used to 'boast' about how disorganised things were. So all credit to you for bringing off an event which was pretty well perfectly organised, it had a really good atmosphere. So well done, and many thanks. BRAVO!

A big thank you from 1st Royal Forest Beavers for a fantastic sleepover experience - we all had a wonderful time and the Beavers had the opportunity to try lots of new activities.
Please pass on our thanks to all the other members of the Camp Staff .

I just wanted to say a big thank you for organising and running a very successful and enjoyable weekend’s camp. Personally I thought it was excellent and I know from seeing the enjoyment on both scouts’ and adults’ faces they thought the same. Well done for a brilliant District Camp.
Our Group really enjoyed it, we’ve broken the mould for “how camps are done” in 1st A&L and, hopefully, set a trend for future camps.
Got a few more adult volunteers from it, so can’t be bad.

Very many congratulations to you and your leaders who planned and ran your centenary camp. You are amazing!
Planning any such event takes huge effort, time and energy and you have certainly exceeded all that to put on such a fantastic camp.
I'm in awe of it all and thank you so much for letting me come along to witness so many children and adults having such fun in Scouting.
